Man: I'm sorry I didn't end up coming home
Woman: What you did to me was cruel...
Hardliners from the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) have staged an angry protest at the Jakarta office of Tempo Magazine this week over this cartoon which they say insulted the honor of fugitive FPI leader Rizieq Shihab.
In the cartoon, which is a parody of a scene from the box office hit film What's up with Love?, the apology by the male character refers to Shihab's repeatedly cancelling plans to return from Saudi Arabia – to the disappointment of his many followers – where he has been hiding to avoid arrest on pornography related charges over steamy WhatsApp chats with a woman named Firza Husein, presumably the woman depicted in the cartoon.
